East London NHS Foundation Trust greatly values the very important work that carers of service users do. We pledge to work in partnership with carers to support this vital role and to acknowledge, and respond to, the needs of these carers.
To find out more about our commitment to working in partnership with carers and local voluntary organisations, and how we plan to support carers, please click here for the Carers' Charter 2010.
Once a year the Trust invites carers to an information exchange event. This is an important platform for carers to influence the way the Trust provides services to service users and carers. Click here for the Carers Event 2011 - Feedback Pack.

If you are a carer, you probably have thoughts and opinions about our services, particularly about how we can improve them. We sincerely value your contributions and would encourage you to get involved and have your voice heard.
If you are specifically interested in issues related to carers, you may wish to contribute to local carer groups or the Trust-wide Carers Committees.
There are many different ways to be involved in improving and shaping our services and these are described under the People Participation link. Any opportunity open to service users is open to carers too.
